Nik Weis St. Urbans-Hof, Ockfener Bockstein Kabinett Riesling 2018, Mosel, Germany
Tasting Note: Classic Mosel riesling abounding with that delicious, sunny quality that makes Mosel rieslings so valued.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of quince, petrol, white peach, fuji apple, pineapple, lime zest, gooseberry and lychee.
On the palate the off-dry, medium-plus-bodied riesling has a slightly-creamy texture with medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by high acidity and completing with a long finish.
There is midpalate complexity, depth of flavor and a vibrancy running throughout the entire length of the taste.
Darn-good, Mosel riesling!
