Tasting Note: Behold the 17% alcohol Amador County zinfandel.

Purple in color the wine has a nose of blackberry, red cherry and surprisingly trace notes of apricot.

On the palate the zinfandel is full bodied with red cherry, red plum notes shining brightly.

The dry red is medium in tannin with some residual sweetness that is more overripe fruit in character than off-dry.
