Orison, Rowan 2014, Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal
Tasting Note: Wines from Alentejano are no joke and represent some of the best values for those who enjoy deep, intense, brooding wines with focus for which this one is a good example.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of kirsch, black plum, cinnamon and clove baking spice, blackberry, raspberry puree and blossom.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend delivers medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose with intense concentration, medium acidity, and ripe, slightly-velvety tannin.
The wine is smooth in texture with midpalate complexity and depth of flavor.
A red blend with substance and manscaped hair on its chest.
Bottle Note: The world is yours.
