Palo Cortado Viejo C.P. Single Vineyard Sherry, Andalusia, Spain
Tasting Note: A palo cortado that will make you want to indulge more into the mystery of its creation.
Medium-intensity amber in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose filled with rancio aromas of caramel, brioche, cinnamon, baked walnut and vanilla baking spice.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied sherry has a slightly-grippy midpalate with loads of complexity along with more caramel and baking spice notes.
The best of both worlds of biological and oxidative aging.
Bottle Note: Macharnudo Vineyard.
