Poema, Cava Brut, Penedes, Spain
Tasting Note: A solid cava that delivers enviable floral notes to pair with cava’s classic toasty character.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, pear, caramel, blossom and lemon zest.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cava has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.
The wine has notes of creaminess even as it is mostly straightforward in taste profile.
A cava you can bring to a brunch or open for yourself anytime and be pleased.
