Santiago Ruiz, O Rosal 2017, Rias Baixas, Spain
Tasting Note: Albariño can have several different expressions, and this expression is perky, bright and eminently pairable.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of grapefruit, pineapple, pear, lemon-citrus peel and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied albariño is bright with ripe, yet still perky, citrus flavors.
There is midpalate complexity and medium acidity that completes with a medium, lemon-citrus finish.
Ahead of the albariño pack.

Bottle Note: The white wine Santiago Ruiz from the O Rosal region, D.O. Rias Baixas (Galicia), is made from local grape varieties like Albariño and Loureiro, along with a small proportion of Treixadura. All the grapes are harvested by hand, so as not to damage them. The elaboration of this wine is done exclusively with the juice of the first pressing, under carefully controlled temperature conditions.
