Sélection des Cognettes, Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie, Loire, France
Tasting Note: A creamy sure-lie muscadet that impresses with its creaminess that always complements seafood.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green apple, blossom and biscuit.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied muscadet has a rich, creamy texture with medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a lemon-citrus-infused, medium-plus finish.
The wine has midpalate complexity and a buttery texture.
I paired with lobster on a Saturday afternoon in summer.
Bottle Note: 100% Melon de Bourgone. Tasting Comments: The nose, of a nice intensity and a big freshness, develops various aromas alloying the flower note citrus fruit and fruits with white flesh. In mouth, fresh and a lightly mineral, join a nice structure perfectly. Culinary Agreements: Serving temperature: 8°C. Good match with shellfishes, on a seafood, on a fish, or cheese.
