Silver Thread, Pinot Noir 2013, Finger Lakes, New York

Tasting Note: A very soft pinot noir from the cool climate New York Finger Lakes.

Ruby in color this pinot noir has a light nose of red cherry and strawberry.

On the palate the wine is light-bodied with red fruit flavors overlaying persistent chalk ending with slightly tart finish.

All in all a straightforward expression of the grape without complexity.
