Sonho Lusitano Vinhos, Pedra Basta Branco 2015, Portalegre, Alentejo DOC, Portugal
Tasting Note: A white blend from Portugal with body, poise and backbone.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a floral nose of green apple, honeysuckle, and peach stone fruit.
On the palate the white blend is dry and medium-plus bodied with ripe, yellow fruit flavors.
The wine is medium plus in acidity.
Bottle Note: This wine comes from a high-altitude vineyard (650M) in the Serra de São Mamede, Alto Alentejo. The vines are around 80 years old with Fernão Pires, Arinto, Roupeiro and Tamarez the predominant varieties.
