St. Supéry, Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Napa Valley, California
Tasting Note: A flavorsome sauvignon blanc filled with ripe fruit and citrus in a classic Napa Valley style.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, freshly-sliced pear and orange blossom with hints of lime zest and just-ripened white peach.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sauvignon blanc has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a floral, medium-plus finish.
There is complexity along the midpalate and refreshing acidity that would go well with a host of dishes.
I’m pairing this wine with cod sautéed in turmeric, ginger, fish sauce and garlic.
The sauvignon blanc would complement a range of dishes.

Bottle Note: Harvested from our sustainability farmed Napa Valley estate vineyard and fermented in stainless steel tanks, our sauvignon blanc is bright and crisp. With our estate vineyard experiencing cooler nights and warmer days due to higher elevations, this wine showcases nice, ripe fruit and refreshing acidity. Flavors of passion fruit, lime and citrus tones create an opulent and vibrant sauvignon blanc of distinctive style. Michael Scholz, winemaker.
