Standing Stone Vineyards, Chardonnay 2014, Finger Lakes, New York
Tasting Note: A lighter styled-chardonnay with a tart refreshing bite.
This lemon-colored chardonnay has a nose of green apple, pear and green melon.
On the palate the wine is medium in acidity with round minerality characterizing the beginning of the taste.
Hints of vanilla show on the tart, lemon-citrusy finish.
Bottle Note: 10 Millennia ago, glaciers carved the Finger Lakes, creating soil ideally suited to growing grapes. Our site, on the east shore of Seneca Lake, captures the ideal elements of wind, water, soil and stone. We craft wines that are brilliant in their personality, with luscious flavors, aromas and textures. We dedicate our passion to wines with a solid foundation in the soil and the stone, expressed with elegant flavors in your class. We’re delighted to share our passion of wine making with you and your loved ones! Marti & Tom Macinski
