Suncé Winery & Vineyard, Clone 337, Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Sol y Sombra Vineyard, Knights Valley, California
Tasting Note: A cabernet sauvignon that delivers deep rich flavors combined with wine-making reserve that raises the wine’s character.
Deep ruby in color this wine has a nose of blackberry, black plum, red cherry and black currant with faint hints of vanilla.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet sauvignon has a grippy but soft, medium-plus tannin structure with red and black fruit flavors showing restraint.
A perfect cabernet to complement grilled meats and the steak I am enjoying this evening.
Bottle Note: Suncé is an artisan winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County, specializing in vineyard-designated varietal wines and classic blends. “To find eternity in a grain of sand or a drop of wine.”
