Tanie & Vincent Carême, Terre Brûlée Le Rouge 2016, Swartland, South Africa
Tasting Note: A red blend with a wonderful bouquet of red-and-black fruit that compliments its smooth body.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a pronounced-intensity, aromatic nose of raspberry puree, blueberry, blackberry jam, black plum and blossom with some Northern-Rhone-reminiscent, black-fruit aromas.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blend has a smooth texture with silky, ripe, medium tannin.
