Terra Única, Tempranillo-Merlot Reserva 2008, Valencia, Spain

Tasting Note: Deep ruby-to-purple in color, this tempranillo (70%) and merlot (30%) red blend has a nose of blackberry, black cherry, red plum, black currant, strawberry, stewed red and black fruit along with hints of cedar.

On the palate the wine is smooth and medium in body and acidity.

Aromas on the nose carry to the palate as flavors with red cherry notes bobbing around on the top layer of black fruit setting the blend up on a path towards mid-level complexity.

An enjoyable red blend; a perfect house wine that’s better than most.
