TerraNoble, CA2 Carmenere Costa 2017, Colchagua, Chile
Tasting Note: A Colchagua Valley carmenere with concentrated-black-fruit and a plush, sensual mouthfeel that belies its elegance.
Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, blueberry puree, stewed raspberry, black currant, black pepper and hibiscus.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied carmenere has medium-plus-intensity, ripe-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-minus acidity and velvety, high tannin ultimately completing with a long finish.
Depth of flavor, aromatics and complexity abound.
An ideal pairing with grilled meat for those who like red wine with structure and body.
Bottle Note: Sourced from our vineyards located on the coastal mountain range of Colchagua Valley, where the constant breezes from the Pacific Ocean cool the grapes down, slowly maturing intense aromas of dark fruit and spice. Together with a soft texture and refreshing elegance, it perfectly expresses a carmenere from Chile’s coast.
