Texas Heritage Vineyard, Reserve Barbera 2018, Reddy Vineyard, Texas High Plains, Texas
Tasting Note: A Texas barbera with lovely red-fruit and floral notes.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry compote, strawberry, red currant, rosehip, blossom and dried cranberry.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied barbera has medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.
The wine has a bright midpalate with some tart, red-fruit notes running along the length of the taste.
A no-brainer to pair with Italian and fried foods.
