Trivento, Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Mendoza, Argentina
Tasting Note: A solid, good-quality cabernet sauvignon from Chile.
Deep-intensity ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum, blackberry, black currant and fig.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet delivers black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by ripe, medium-plus tannin.
There is mid-palate concentration, balance, and a blend of tart-and-ripe fruit notes running throughout the length of the taste.
Would please many a cabernet sauvignon drinker in your life.
Bottle Note: Trivento takes its name from three winds: Polar, Zonda and Sudestada. The God of the Winds, EOLO, capriciously summons the winds that make Mendoza such a distinctive winegrowing region. A dark garnet red whose cherry jam and red bell pepper aromas combine with chocolate and coffee notes from the 6 months aged in French oak. Trivento Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon offers sweet yet robust tannins.
