Ulrich Langguth, Riesling 2015, Mosel, Germany
Tasting Note: Taste sunlight from the Mosel in this spritely dry riesling.
Pale-intensity lemon in color this aromatic riesling has a nose of honeysuckle, lemon citrus, pear, pineapple and apricot.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied wine echoes flavors on the nose supported by high acidity that lifts the wine through to a long finish.
The riesling is also slightly petillant with tiny bubbles clinging to the side of your glass.
The wine is light, refreshing and relatively low in alcohol – perfect for hot weather or long dinners indoors.
Bottle Note: Riesling vines grown on the slatey soil of the River Mosel have always known to produce refreshing, easy-to-drink wines. This excellent, crisp off dry wine with expressive minerality and fruit represents German riesling of superior quality. Serve chilled between 55-50°F. This wine will match ideally with seafood and white meat.
