Tasting Note: A red wine from one of Italy’s indigenous varietals that flaunts depth of flavor combined with rich florality.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, black plum, raspberry, violet blossom and forest floor in a way that is very Northern-Rhone reminiscent.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Lacrima Di Morro has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by ripe, medium-plus tannin.

The midpalate is complex and completes with a black-fruit-infused, medium-plus finish.

Italy hosts the largest number of indigenous grape varieties on the planet, and this is one to look out for.
