Ventisquero, Grey Glacier Single Block Longomilla Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2019, Atacama Valley, Chile

Tasting Note: A sauvignon blanc with fresh orchard fruit and hints of limestone.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of pineapple, golden apple, tangerine, starfruit and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied wine has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a citrusy, medium-plus finish.

The wine is steely in texture with some hints of tartness on the midpalate.

A solid sauvignon blanc in a ripe-fruit style.

Bottle Note: This sauvignon blanc reflects all the magic of the Atacama Desert’s cool coast, just 20 km from the ocean. Aromas of limes and green chili peppers intermingle with mineral notes. The mouth is well-structured, vertical and fresh and has a saline hint from our limestone soils.
