Zorgvliet, Petit Verdot 2010, Banghoek, South Africa
Tasting Note: While the wine is mostly straightforward in taste profile, it has body, depth and strength.
Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a nose of black plum, black cherry, kirsch and blackberry.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied petite verdot expresses flavors suggested on the nose with supple, ripe high tannin that gives the wine body.
Bottle Note: Deep black color with coriander, cloves and fruit cake on the nose. The wine shows dark plum and prune on the palate with a full, fine structured tannin.
