Tasting Note: A straightforward dornfelder that underperforms and lacks flavor concentration and intensity.

Medium-tending-towards-deep-ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum preserve, black currant, fresh red cherry, strawberry, freshly-opened pack of shower curtain and with hints of tar.

On the palate the dry, medium bodied wine delivers musty-red fruit and flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium-tannin.

Bottle Note: Take a break from the ordinary with this German dry red wine. Our delightful Beaujolais-style wine has an enticing aroma of berries. The light taste is fresh, fruity and uncomplicated. It’s an excellent wine to enjoy everyday. A red wine for “white” foods.
