A. Diehl, Spätburgunder Trocken 2015, Pfalz, Germany
Tasting Note: A weekday spatburgunder (pinot noir).
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red cherry, strawberry, red plum and blossom with a hint of violet.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir echoes medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose buttressed by ripe, medium-minus tannin.
The wine could have more concentration and mid-palate complexity.
