Adega de Borba, Reserva Vinho Tinto Red Wine 2015, Alentejo, Portugal

Tasting Note: A red blend that leads with black fruit and finishes with sultry red fruit.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, red currant, blueberry, fig and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blend has medium-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and velvety, medium-plus tannin.

There are some chalky notes on the midpalate punctuated by moments of complexity.

A good red blend.
