Amirault, Les Quarterons St. Nicolas de Bourgueil 2016, Loire, France

Tasting Note: A Bourgueil that combines concentration and florality.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum and forest floor with hints of grass, hay and graphite.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied cabernet franc has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose with concentrated, black fruit on the midpalate supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin that complements the wine’s floral character.

Bottle Note: 100% Cabernet Franc. Harvested and sorted by hand. Red wine made with organic grapes. Certified organic by Ecocert France SAS. A slight sediment is the natural result of wine aging.
