Tasting Note: Cabernet franc from Argentina is a treat and tasting examples like this will make you curious to try more.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, forest floor and dried-crushed violet petal.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied cabernet franc has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

This cabernet franc is definitively ripe, yet there are some undercurrent earthy notes.

The vines planted in 1899 develop in the wine’s aromas of red fruits such as currants, raspberries and plums. Friendly, round and ripe tannins with a silky and long finish.
