Babylonstoren, Shiraz 2016, Western Cape, South Africa
Tasting Note: A well-made shiraz that shows ripe, black fruit and flavor intensity.
Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of violet, lavender, black plum, blackberry and raspberry preserve.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied shiraz has ripe, velvety, medium-plus tannin with pronounced flavor intensity.
There is also black pepper, ripe black fruit, flavor depth and balance between the fruit and tannin structure.
