Barberani, Grechetto 2017, Umbria IGT, Italy
Tasting Note: Midweek white wine to pair with a simple meal.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of cantaloupe melon, quince, pear and blossom with hints of guava.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied grechetto has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity.
The wine is straightforward, humble and has an acid structure that would pair well with many dishes.
Enjoy at home rather than bring to a party.
Bottle Note: Made with organic grapes.
