Berghold Estate Vineyards, Foot Stomp Zinfandel 2013, Lodi, California
Tasting Note: This purple-colored zinfandel has a spicy nose of blackberry fruit with some black plum.
On the palate the wine is soft with low-to-medium tannin and cinnamon and baking spice.
Bottle Note: Foot Stomp is made “The Old Way” from 100% Berghold Estate Lodi, California Zinfandel grades and aged 14 months in American oak barrels. You might say this limited production back-to-the-future wine is “liquid American berry pie.”
