Tasting Note: This purple-colored petite sirah has a nose of blackberry fruit followed by black plum and some clove baking spice.

On the palate the wine shows black fruit on the attack followed by medium-plus tannin which characterizes the majority of the finish.

Subtle smokiness and pepper show as a minor component of the wine.

The low-yield, flavor-concentrated grapes express the distinct quality of our vineyards and the Lodi appellation.
