Bernard et Olivier Coste, Montrose Rosé 2019, IGP Cotes de Thongue, France
Tasting Note: A Languedoc rosé that is true to the region’s signature style.
Pale-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of red cherry, strawberry, cranberry, honeysuckle and rosehip.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé has medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus-acidity and completing with slightly-tart, red-cherry, medium-plus finish.
The wine has a straightforward midpalate that can refresh during summer or match with a multiplicity of light dishes in winter such as cod which I’m enjoying tonight.
A rosé for many seasons.
Bottle Note: Since 1701, in the South of France, our family has made wine with passion. To preserve our planet, we have reached carbon neutrality. This rosé acclaimed wine is the symbol of our quest for excellence. Bernard & Olivier Coste – owners, winemakers.
