Bougrier, Anjou Blanc 2015, Loire Valley, France

Tasting Note: A Loire Valley chenin blanc that expresses the grape’s dry, tart green fruit character showing yet again, why Loire chenin blanc pairs so well with summer.

Pale lemon-yellow in color this wine has a nose of pear, green apple and lemon zest.

On the palate the chenin blanc is tart on the attack followed by green fruit flavors and high acidity that ultimately completes with a lemon-citrus infused finish.

Tight, refreshing, and zesty.

Bottle Note: Golden color for a mild white chenin. Mouth-filling wine with nice aromas of quince. Serve as an aperitif with fishes or cheeses.
