Cartuxa, Evora Tinto Colheita 2013, Alentejo, Portugal
Tasting Note: A concentrated, red blend from Portugal that pleases and abounds with depth and structure.
Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of blackberry, black plum, black currant and violet.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend expresses black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by ripe, velvety, high tannin.
The wine is concentrated with a medium-plus finish.
There is mid-palate complexity and balance between the fruit and tannin.
Bottle Note: Aragonez (50%), Alicante Bouschet (20%), Trincadeira (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%)
