Cathedral Ridge, Grenache 2019, Columbia Valley, Oregon
Tasting Note: A grenache with wonderful florality and a rich bouquet.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of ripe red plum, red cherry and rosehip.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied riesling has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, well-integrated, medium tannin.
Bottle Note: A red grape with world-wide acclaim, Grenache is increasing in popularity in the Columbia Valley. The grapes for our Grenache are sourced from the fabled Sugarloaf and McKinley Springs vineyards in the Columbia Valley AVA. Spicy and soft on the palate, it is brimming with red fruit. A lighter red that is surprisingly bold. It pairs well with hearty meals. 400 cases.
