Charles Woodson’s Intercept Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 – Cabernet Lovers Come Hither

Charles Woodson’s Intercept, Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Paso Robles, California. Wine Casual

Charles Woodson’s Intercept, Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Paso Robles, California

Tasting Note: A substantial Paso Robles cabernet sauvignon with depth, concentration, body and balance.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of rhubarb, blackberry, black currant, black plum, raspberry puree, fig and violet.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet sauvignon has medium-plus-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin ultimately completing with a long, raspberry-filled finish.

The wine is velvety in texture with midpalate complexity and elegant, black-fruit integration.

Cabernet lovers come hither.

Bottle Note: Charles Woodson bring the same passion and hard work to his wine as his once-in-a-lifetime football career. With Intercept, the defensive great delivers a Paso Robles wine with diversity and complexity that reflects his own storied journey. -Charles Woodson
