Chateau Cambon Beaujolais 2013 – Better Than Basic Gamay

Chateau Cambon, Beaujolais 2013, France, Wine Casual

Chateau Cambon, Beaujolais 2013, France

Tasting Note: A better-than-middle-of-the-pack Beaujolais that showcases bright red fruit.

Purple-to-ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of strawberry, red cherry, kirsch and banana.

On the palate the dry, light-to-medium bodied Beaujolais is soft with soft red cherry fruit showing on the attack supported by high acidity that refreshes with some tartness showing on the finish.

The wine is medium in both flavor and color intensity and presents the gamay grape in better-than-basic form.
