Chateau de la Roulerie, Les Camélias Rosé 2015, Loire, France

Tasting Note: A cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon rosé blend that expresses discernable elements of each grape giving this rosé character.

Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, red plum, melon and strawberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied wine expresses flavors suggested on the nose along with pencil shavings, cedar and black plum.

There is balance between the fruit and medium-acidity which completes with a medium finish.

The varietal character of the component elements shine through brightly and complement each other as well.

Bottle Note: 50% Cabernet Franc, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Serve at 8°C. Excellent for aperitif with antipasti or barbecue fish or meat.
