Château de Laballe Armagnac Laballe 2000 – A Voluptuous Armagnac with Gentle Curves

Château de Laballe, Armagnac Laballe 2000, Bas Armagnac, France, Wine Casual

Château de Laballe, Armagnac Laballe 2000, Bas Armagnac, France

Tasting Note: Armagnac done in the voluptuous style cementing itself as cognac’s slightly-older and more-attractive brother.

Medium-intensity amber in color, this spirit has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of caramel, cinnamon-and-clove baking spice, bread dough, brioche, tobacco and leather.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied Armagnac has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose with a long, caramel-and-bread-dough-infused finish.

The spirit is creamy in texture with a slightly-savory midpalate laced with punctuations of clove.

An Armagnac with gentle curves.
