Château de Marsan, Bordeaux Moelleux 2017, France
Tasting Note: A sweet wine from Bordeaux that has a light-enough body and sweetness to serve as an aperitif paired with nuts and light cheeses.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic-and-pronounced-intensity nose of crab apple, honeydew melon, pineapple, gooseberry, starfruit and blossom.
On the palate the medium-sweet, medium-bodied white blend has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported my medium-plus acidity and completing with a medium finish.
The wine has a slightly steely texture and a lightness of body that would make it versatile pairing partner.
