Château de Marsan, Premières Côtes de Bordeaux Blanc Moelleux 2015, France

Tasting Note: A light dessert wine with some savory elements that would pair well with charcuterie before or after a meal.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium- intensity nose of quince, orange zest, lemon citrus and melon with hints of dill and freshly-cut grass.

On the palate the medium-sweet, medium-bodied wine has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a golden-apple-infused, medium finish.

The wine is balanced but lacks some concentration in the midpalate to serve as a replacement for dessert.

Bottle Note: 80% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc.
