Château LaClaymore, Lussac Saint-Émilion 2016, Bordeaux, France
Tasting Note: A good midweek Bordeaux that is merlot-expressive with more structure than many from the right-bank.
Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, raspberry, red cherry, blossom and red currant.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Bordeaux has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and smooth, medium tannin.
The wine has a slightly-creamy texture with some notes of midpalate complexity.
