Château Peybonhomme-Les-Tours, Energies 2016, Bordeaux, France

Tasting Note: A red Bordeaux with weight and concentration that is red-fruit forward with lovely earthy notes.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red currant, red plum, raspberry, pencil shavings, forest floor and graphite.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied, red Bordeaux has medium-plus-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium-plus tannin.

The wine is balanced with the fruit and tannin structure in perfect harmony so as to refresh your palate.

A Bordeaux to repeat!

Bottle Note: Location: Right bank of Bordeaux, above Blaye, overlooking a valley of extraordinary beauty. Grapes: 60% merlot, 10% cabernet sauvignon, 30% malbec. Vinification: Rigorous selection of the harvest. Gentle winemaking using only indigenous yeasts. Matured 12 months in terra cotta amphorae. Tasting: Ample and complex wine. In the mouth, aromas of black fruits with a hint of minerality. To appreciate now and during 10 years! Famille Hubert – Vignerons.
