Château Segur du Cros, Loupiac 2018, France
Tasting Note: A sweet Bordeaux with intense, golden-fruit notes that coat and dance across your palate.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of orange marmalade, dried apple, apricot stonefruit, honey, dried mango and blossom.
On the palate the luscious, full-bodied sweet Bordeaux is filled with ripe, pronounced-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by high acidity and completing with a long, orange-citrus-infused finish.
The wine is mouthcoating in texture with midpalate complexity.
A dessert wine that would make you look good in a party, or one to stash away for yourself and bring the next bottle in your dessert-wine lineup.
Bottle Note: Semillon 85%, Sauvignon 10%, Muscadelle 5%. Grand Vin de Bordeaux.
