Tasting Note: Sweet Bordeaux is no monolith; this aged 2002 wine marries dried fruit with complimenting nutty elements.

Deep-intensity gold tending towards amber in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of dried apricot, petrol, dried apple, hazelnut, almond, walnut and marmalade.

On the palate the luscious, full-bodied sweet Bordeaux has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with some additional notes of brioche, caramel and marzipan.

The wine is mouthcoating in texture and is supported by high acidity ultimately completing with a long finish.

The wine is balanced with some notes of development from the mid-to-back palate.
