Colmant, Methode Cap Classique Brut Rosé 2016, Western Cape, South Africa
Tasting Note: If you like brut rosé sparklers, this will be among the heavier of styles.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a nose of strawberry, red cherry and yeast.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied sparkling rosé has red fruit flavors suggested on the nose lifted by high acidity.
There is yeast, flowers and bright red fruit.
Bottle Note: Methode Cap Classique handcrafted with passion in the traditional French method. Blend: Pinot noir (75%), and chardonnay (25%). Maturation: 24 months minimum on the lees. Elegant, silky and fruity, with fresh lingering notes of red berries.
