Tasting Note: A cabernet sauvignon that reminds you why the world fell in love with Chilean cabernet.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has aromatic nose of black plum, bramble, blackberry, raspberry, violet, black cherry and hints of vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet sauvignon delivers velvet-textured flavors suggested on the nose and completes with a medium-plus finish.

The wine has ripe, medium-plus tannin, medium acidity and midpalate complexity.

A cabernet sauvignon to repeat.

Bottle Note: This cabernet sauvignon comes from the Puente Alto and Pirque Vineyards that grow near the foothills of the Andes Mountains in the Maipo Valley. The rocky soils are alluvial in origin, poor in nutrients, and highly permeable due to the abundance of gravel in the subsoil. This limited production Cabernet Sauvignon features black fruit aromas, highly concentrated, firm tannins, and a smooth texture.
