Tasting Note: A pinot noir that reveals a seductive bouquet of red fruit and roses in your glass.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of rose petal, red cherry, pomegranate, strawberry, red plum and cranberry.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot noir has medium-plus-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-acidity and ripe, medium-tannin ultimately completing with a floral, medium-plus finish.
The wine combines tart and just-ripened red fruit enhances midpalate complexity.
Delicate, flavorful and beautiful.
Established in 2020, the Tualatin Hills AVA is one of Oregon’s newest AVAs.
The defining characteristic of the AVA is graphite according to David Hill Estate winemaker, Chad Stock.
Pinot noir is the dominant grape variety in the AVA.
The site where David Hill Estate’s vineyard is situated produces wines characterized by pronounced acidity and florality.
