Tasting Note: An Oregon chardonnay with expressive green-fruit and refreshing minerality along the midpalate.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, bosc pear, lime zest, honeydew melon and white nectarine.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chardonnay has medium-plus-intensity, tart, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a tart, lemon-lime-leaning, long finish.

Some notes of chalkiness underpin the complex midpalate.

The sort of white wine that restores your faith in tasteful chardonnay.

The Seven Springs Vineyard sits in Eola Amity Hills, a sub-AVA of Willamette.

The 14-acre Seven Springs Vineyard is dry farmed, meaning the vines are not irrigated.

The vines are planted in volcanic soil and the resulting wines retain bright acidity due to cool-night air.
