Tasting Note: Sauternes in style, this semillon knocks it out of the park with bright fruit and an energized acidity.

Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of orange-citrus peel, peach stone fruit, nectarine, apple blossom and honeysuckle petal.

On the palate the sweet, medium-plus-bodied semillon has pronounced-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by high acidity and completing with a long, orange-citrus infused finish.

There is balance between the fruit and acidity.

The wine is deliciously luscious in texture.

Bottle Note: Coeur d’Or is a very luscious but refreshing dessert wine, made from botrytised semillon grapes picked on our vineyard in NSW Central Ranges region in April 2018. It is a golden yellow in color, with concentrated fruit characters of apricot, lime, and cumquat. The palate is rich, dense and “non-sticky,” with a lovely fresh fruit drive and layers of citrus and marmalade characters. Partially matured with French oak to gain complexity. Richard and Janet de Beaurepaire.
