De Toma, Moscato di Scanzo DOCG 2017, Lombardy, Italy

Tasting Note: A supple Moscato di Scanzo that oozes complexity.

Deep-intensity ruby in color with garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, red rose petal, black tea and raspberry.

On the palate the medium-sweet Moscato di Scanzo has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and supple, medium tannin ultimately completing with a long finish.

A sweet wine masquerading as dry.

An excellent example of Moscato di Scanzo from one of the oldest wineries in Italy’s second-smallest DOCG.

When you get this, drink it, and thank me later.
